    The Too-White Craftsman Bungalow

Craftsman bungalows are perhaps my very favorite style of house. It’s not the curb appeal that gets me loving them, though. It’s the amazing detailing and woodwork inside. That’s why this Craftsman bungalow I stumbled onto on Hooked On Houses made me seriously cringe. Like the blogger at Hooked On Houses, I’m a bit perplexed as to why anyone would paint all that lovely woodwork white.

    What do you think?

If I look with an open mind, I certainly can see the beauty of the light, modern feel they gave it. But alas, the purist in me would need the original dark wood to be truly happy!
