It’s like something out of a fairy tale- an abandoned manor house built in 1799 in Ireland. The photos are few, but wonderful. It reminds me of a dream.

When I was a kid, we had a neighbor that was constantly remodeling their house. Except, they were total idiots about it and it looked like crap. My dad would say, “Looks like the Johnsons are remuddling again.” Whenever I hear that word, it makes me nostalgic. Go figure. Here are some more remuddling messes to tee hee at.
When I saw this, all I could say was, “Whoa.” Anyone that knows me well knows I’m a fan of all things tiki, so this tiki fireplace impressed me. The best part is, the site has step by step pictures of how they built it. Even better.
If you’re looking to save energy, this website from the government (shocking, I know) is an excellent resource. It covers everything from landscaping to help you save energy to CFL bulbs. And a bunch of stuff in between. How handy!
