I’ve been in a family who recycles all my life, so it was easy to be a recycler as an adult. Other people have not grown up that way, so recycling may be harder for them. I know Mr. Ivy often forgets and throws recyclable materials away.
Clutter Control Freak blog has a handy dandy list as to what the recycling numbers printed on plastics mean and if they are recyclable. I am so printing this out for Mr. Ivy, he often claims he forgets which plastics are recyclable and which are not. Thanks, Clutter Control Freak!

I'm so glad Karen Henke submitted that post for our CCF Blog! We have one of those blue cans at my house that you throw everthing together in, so I never knew the actual breakdown of the numbers.
Thanks for the mention!
